As a proof to how reliable this class has been through the years, the Emperor has used an upgraded version of this very same class as transports for the Imperial Treasury. The Bestower has very thick armor and large cargo space.

Being a highly versatile class of Minmatar ships, the Bellicose has been used as a combat juggernaut as well as a support ship for wings of frigates. In YC114 each major empire faction, having been embroiled in a harrowing, extensive, long-term war, recognized the growing need for support and logistics functionality in their vessels during the kind of protracted interstellar warfare that might otherwise prove exhausting for its participants. In the Caldari State, this led to the redesign and redeployment of the Bantam. The Bantam, a strong and sturdy craft, was originally an extremely effective mining frigate. After its redesign, the Bantam's large structure had to give way for logistics systems that ate up some of its interior room but allowed it to focus extensively on shield support for fellow vessels.

Avalanche (Upwell Freighter)

Designed to be the ultimate solution to all solar system infrastructure hauling needs, the Avalanche-class Freighter was conceived. Expertise provided by ORE's experience with their Bowhead design was invaluable in installing the gigantic infrastructure hold and powered slots for modules, while scientists from Mordu's Legion were able to outfit the Avalanche with new advanced missile guidance routines for auto-targeting missiles as well as installing missile armaments that could put most Battleships to shame. The Avalanche is also capable of fitting capital sized shield flex hardener modules, thanks to a collaborative effort between Chemal Tech, Eifyr and Co and Propel Dynamics, although this, on top of the gigantic infrastructure hold it possesses has come at the expense of it having far too large and turbulent of a digital signature to be able to use a cloaking device.

AUGOROR NAVY ISSUE
